Thank you for visiting The Broncobots' homepage. We are the Lee's Summit North High School robotics team from Lee's Summit, Missouri, that competes in the FIRST Robotics Competition.
2010 Season Results
On March 25-27th, we attended the Oklahoma Regional in Oklahoma City. During the regional, the Broncobots won the Entrepreneurship Award sponsored by Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers and the Website Award on Friday. On Saturday, we were chosen by the number one alliance consisting of Team 2410 and Team 935, and together we won the regional! Team 1987 also earned FIRST's most prestigious honor, the Regional Chairman's Award! We would like to thank Team 2410, Team 935, our sponsors, parents, and mentors! In April, we traveled to the World Championships in Atlanta where we competed on the Archimedes field.

During the Colorado Regional competition held in Denver, March 26 through 28, Team Broncobots earned FIRST's most prestigious honor, the Regional Chairman's Award. This recognition honors the team that best represents a model for other teams to emulate in meeting the goal of inspiring greater levels of respect for science and technology. Additionally, Team Broncobots mentor, Kevin Schimpf, earned the Colorado Regional Woodie Flowers Award in recognition of his exemplary efforts to lead, inspire and empower the LSN Robotics team. At Nationals in Atlanta, we competed on the Archimedes field against 86 other teams, winning 6 of 7 matches, for a third place finish. We had an AWESOME season The team greatly appreciates all the support given throughout this season!
